Call for Participants: Where Are the Asians? Queering the Archives

Diane Yoong (Mellon Digital Publics Fellow) is currently working on an oral history project, Where Are the Asians? Queering the Archives, that is looking to document the lives of queer and/or trans Asian (American)s*, centering on the lives and experiences of women, gender non-conforming, intersex, and trans folks. Please click here for more information about the project.

Diane is looking to interview folks who identify as Asian living in the U.S., women, gender non-conforming, intersex, and/or trans who are 40 years old and older. Diane will be posting these interviews on a dedicated, publicly-accessible website.

If you are interested or think you may know someone who would be interested in participating in this project, please contact Diane at dyoong@gradcenter.cuny.edu.

* Asian (American) is broadly defined, and is NOT restricted to those with citizenship/green-card/legal status to the U.S.
