What: 6th Annual CUNY Digital Humanities Initiative Lightning Talks
When: Wednesday, October 28, 2020
Time: 6:30 to 8:00 PM
Where: Zoom (link will be sent by email to registered participants)
Lightning talks are informal, 3-minute / 3-slide presentations that offer a brief insight into your ongoing digital humanities project, research, or question. The audience includes a diverse community of engaged CUNY colleagues who are eager to hear about your project.
We welcome first-time presenters, as well as those who have participated in past CUNY DHI Lightning Talks. This year, students, faculty, and staff presenters will join the dozens of scholars from previous DHI events in showcasing the diversity and innovation of CUNY’s digital humanities community. Learn more about some of these projects on the CUNY DHI website.
Following presentations, participants and attendees will have an opportunity to socialize and ask questions in breakout groups organized thematically, such as: Publishing, Pedagogy, Mapping, Visualization, Archives, and more.
This event is free and open to all CUNY students, faculty, and staff. Registration requires the use of your CUNY institution email account.
Sign up to present or to attend using this form by Thursday, October 22. Visit cuny.is/cunydhi for more info.
