Graduate students interested in putting their training and skills to use in careers beyond the tenure track should attend this panel.
The panel will be composed of Graduate Center alumni from Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology who have capitalized on their training in research to develop careers outside the academy. Panelists will speak directly from their experience, addressing in detail the ins and outs of their professions as well as the twists and turns involved in the paths that have led them to where they are now. Ample time will be allowed for questions from the audience. Here’s your chance to talk to GC alum who have not only imagined a career path beyond the tenure track but have realized such a path as a practical matter of fact. Don’t miss this opportunity to have some light shed on your career horizons.
