Call for Papers: 2020 Yale Film & Media Studies Graduate Conference
Yale’s Film & Media Studies program invites submissions for its annual graduate conference. The conference will take place Saturday, February 29th through Sunday, March 1st, 2020 at the Yale Whitney Humanities Center.
This year’s theme is “Accidents & Contingencies.” Please follow this link or refer to the attached .pdf to read the conference’s Call for Papers.
Submission Process:
Should you wish to submit a proposal to this year’s conference, please send a 300 word abstract and a brief bio by 5:00 PM on Friday, December 20th, 2019 to [email protected]. Presentations will be 20 minutes long and will be part of thematically organized panels. Each panel will be followed by a Q&A session.
We encourage interested participants to refer to the list of proposed paper topics to get a sense of the kinds of presentations that would be suitable for this year’s conference.
